Your leadership will involve providing expert clinical advice and recommendations on wound management practices, offering clinical supervision to nursing staff, and serving as a role model by delivering direct nursing care regularly.

This role requires strong communication skills and emotional intelligence, as we are seeking someone who can bring positive influence, resilience, and support to the team. You will be expected to apply research and evidence-based practices, demonstrating the ability to think critically and problem-solve while linking outcomes to the principles of continuous quality improvement within your clinical specialty. Clinically, you will be supported by the Wound CNS2, who works 0.6 FTE in Integrated Care New England North West, servicing Armidale and the surrounding areas. The position will be based in Armidale Community Health, with ongoing professional support and clinical supervision to further enhance your development.
