About the role

As custodians of the next generation in our region, our Child and Family Health nurses play a key role in the core goal of our Health District – healthier rural people and thriving communities.

In this role, you will play an integral role in the Brighter Beginnings Program. You will support the health and development of children within early childhood education settings. You will work within Multidisciplinary Team to support families and children with identified developmental vulnerabilities across the region.

Y
ou will need to have relevant post graduate qualifications, three years full time equivalent clinical experience in child and family health, have sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team and to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality care as part of the Brighter Beginnings program.
