About the Opportunity
The Geriatric/Rehabilitation Ward at Fairfield Hospital is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support and mentor our dedicated nursing staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care. This is a unique opportunity to guide and inspire the next generation of nurses in a rewarding and collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for providing education and training to nursing staff, promoting best practices in geriatric and rehabilitation care, and supporting new staff and students through tailored education plans. Collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to evidence-based patient outcomes and play a key role in quality improvement initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a positive attitude and a passion for leadership and mentorship. Strong communication and negotiation skills will allow you to influence families, patients, and staff effectively. What You'll be Doing
Deliver and evaluate clinical education programs in consultation with Management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants, to support the delivery of clinical best practice, patient service and enhanced patient outcomes.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
