As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will be at the forefront of delivering and evaluating clinical education programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of ISLHDs nursing staff. Your role will involve coordinating orientation and transition support for new and casual nurses while addressing the ongoing educational needs of our experienced team. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager and hospital team, to ensure that clinical education aligns with the specialty’s standards. The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide direct supervision at point of care and contribute to a culture of quality, safety, and professional development, having a direct impact on the professional growth of our nursing staff.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
