The Clinical Nurse Consultant provides expert clinical advice to consumers, carers and other health care professionals with complex healthcare needs within the Mental Health Service.  The Clinical Nurse Consultant is a clinical expert who, through leadership, facilitates excellence in research based clinical practice, education, research and professional leadership. The Clinical Nurse Consultant models the CORE (Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment) values of the organisation.

In the Shoalhaven, on Dharawal and Yuin Country, ISLHD operate three hospital sites: David Berry Hospital, Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital and Milton Ulladulla Hospital.

·         Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.

·         Working With Children Check (WWCC)

·         Current AHPRA Registration

·         Minimum five years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. must have approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to community mental health, or other qualifications and/or experience deemed appropriate.

·         Valid NSW Drivers Licence
