- Demonstrated senior nursing experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in a relevant setting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a culture within the organisation which is open to critical reflection and change.
- Demonstrated ability to develop an environment which promotes continuous improvement in practice, including leading the development and review of Policy and Procedure.
- Demonstrated ability to represent the organisation at the local level, and appropriately consult with staff and other health professionals through utilising a broad range of communication skills selectively in a variety of settings.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate and incorporate where appropriate emerging trends into practice.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and evaluate performance management across the organisation and identify opportunities to realise enhanced performance.
- Demonstrated ability to actively contribute to the development of strategic plans. This should incorporate the effective implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
- Demonstrated ability Lead the development of relevant models of care to ensure innovative, effective and efficient service delivery in collaboration with facility/service Executive.
