Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2: $131,879.90 to $134,500.69 per annum
Clinical Psychologist:  $105,553 to $128,653 per annum
Occupational Therapist Level 4: $117,544 - $120,393 per annum
Psychologist: $74,742 - $109,397 per annum
Senior Clinical Psychologist: $134,432 - $142,133 per annum
Senior Psychologist: $115,175 - $124,803 per annum
Social Worker Level 4:  $117,544 - $120,393 per annum
Welfare Officer Level 4: $117,544 - $120,393 per annum

What you'll be doing
The Clinical Leader provides expert clinical services, clinical governance and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians, ensuring the provision of services is evidence-based and with a focus on recovery.


Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, OR Tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers OR Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health for Welfare Officers.
  2. Demonstrated high level clinical and consultancy skills and knowledge of contemporary mental health practice including successful post-graduation experience in the provision of mental health services. For Registered Nurses at least 5 years full time equivalent postgraduate experience with postgraduate tertiary nursing qualifications in mental health with at least 3 year’s fulltime equivalent experience in the speciality field or current enrolment in or commitment to enrol in an approved postgraduate course within the next 12 months.
  3. Understanding of the concept and principles of mental health rehabilitation and recovery and demonstrated experience and skills using a collaborative, strengths based approach to the care of mental health consumers.
  4. Proven ability to think critically, problem solve and make timely, sound clinical decisions whilst working autonomously.
  5. Demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership and clinical supervision to mental health clinicians from all disciplines, upholding standards of clinical practice, and critically analyse, review and develop relevant policies and procedures.
  6. Demonstrated understanding and application of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007).
  7. Ability to communication effectively and the capacity to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families and carers and/or other stakeholders, and a demonstrated high level proficiency in computer literacy.
  8. Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.


Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015.
 All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.
