About the Role

Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals.  RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.

   

The purpose of a cleaning employee of the Sydney Local Health District, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, is to provide an efficient and effective cleaning and waste service for patient and non patient areas.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience and ability to perform all general or house hold type cleaning duties in a similar working environment
  • Knowledge of Manual Handling and Infection Control Practices
  • Understand the Principles of Waste Management
