What you'll be doing
Chronic and Complex Allied Health Service Coordinator is responsible for the management of Allied Health services that ensure the provision and development of a range of high quality preventative, early intervention and treatment services for clients with chronic and complex care health issues.  

This position is responsible for the day to day operational management of the Allied Health multidisciplinary teams based in Community Health including the disciplines of Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work and Speech Pathology

Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant clinical qualifications in an allied health related field and extensive clinical experience and/or experience in the management and planning of allied health services
  2. Substantial, recent experience in the working in management of multidisciplinary clinical teams and effective staff management and clinical leadership skills
  3. High level communication and analytical skills including proven experience in the management of clinical activity and performance monitoring.
  4. Proven knowledge and experience of primary care and community health clinical service delivery and clinical practice models and proven skills to efficiently plan and manage clinical services
  5. Understanding of Integrated & Community Health, in particular Chronic & Complex related health policies and strategic frameworks
  6. Proven organisational and planning ability
  7. Knowledge and experience of quality processes and a commitment to the implementation of best practice and clinical service innovation
  8. Currently hold a drivers license valid in Australia, and willing to use for work purposes
