What you'll be doing
Lead the daily operations of an early childhood education and care service for WSLHD staff and the wider community, ensuring compliance and quality.

  • Overseeing service operations in line with legislation and standards.
  • Supporting health staff and the community with quality childcare.
  • Managing compliance with funding agreements and policies.
  • Fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment.
  • Ensuring high-quality care and smooth service delivery.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Diploma or Degree level qualification relevant to Early Childhood Education and/or relevant experience.
  2. Highly developed communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Applied knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, law and regulations and quality standards governing early childhood education and care services.
  4. Demonstrated extensive experience to lead a team of educators in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of an early childhood education and care program.
  5. Demonstrated people management experience with teams (10+) of direct reports.
  6. Knowledge of funding relationships with State and Federal government agencies involved in children’s services.
  7. Highly developed organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
