Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Grade 2, to provide clinical support across Gosford Hospital.

About the Opportunity

The Clinical Nurse Specialist, Grade 2, is responsible for delivering specialist nursing care and leading development of clinical practice and service delivery. 

This position plays a key role in ensuring continuity of care and enhancing the overall patient experience. In this role you will:

  • Deliver complex care and advanced clinical skills.

  • Provide clinical expertise and clinical leadership.

  • Work effectively and collaboratively both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary health care team.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to promote a supportive environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of specified post-graduate qualification.

  • Committed to teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

  • Dedicated to providing complex care and advanced clinical skills.
