About the role:
Fantastic opportunity to join a committed team to provide generalist medical care and specialised palliative care services, coordinating with clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, continuity of care, and support for patients, families, and healthcare providers across multiple settings.

About our Department:
Specialist led inpatient consult liaison service in Manning Base Hospital including CNC2, CNS & Registrar.
Community palliative care nursing led service providing support to the region including Manning Valley, Great Lakes, Gloucester, & Bulahdelah.
Medical governance of Forster Private Hospital palliative care consult liaison service.
Outpatient clinic potential.
Strong links with the district wide Health Service and support networks statewide.
Accreditation for Advanced Skilled Post (ACCRM/RACGP) and Diploma of Palliative Care (RACP).
We have a well-established relationship with the University of Newcastle’s Department of Rural Health and teach into Year 3-5 of the Joint Medical Program. Appointment as a conjoint academic is encouraged (level commensurate with qualifications and experience).
