- MBBS or equivalent, current registration with Australian Medical Board
- Five years postgraduate hospital experience.
- Experience in Emergency Medicine such that the applicant can safely manage as the most senior person in the Emergency Department.
- Advanced Resuscitation Skills including Rapid Sequence Endotracheal Intubation and familiarity of Invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Familiarity with Invasive and Non-Invasive Ventilation.
- Procedural ability including but not limited to ultrasound guided insertion of Central Lines and Arterial Lines, thoraco-centesis and thoracostomy placement.
- Ability to manage Shock including Inotropic Support.
- High level of Communication and Interpersonal Skills/ability to work in a team.
