- Demonstrated ability to instantly recognize and document abnormal ECG and possessing or currently undertaking a Certificate of the Institute of Cardio-Pulmonary Technology or equivalent qualification appropriate to the position.
- Demonstrated ability to perform and interpret cardiac device interrogation is an advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of cardiac electrophysiology and performance of basic and advanced electrophysiology studies.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of haemodynamics and principles of related measurements.
- Be highly proficient in operating the monitoring and recording equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures or be capable of acquiring such skills.
Knowledge of advanced life support is crucial for this position.
