- Appropriate Bachelor Degree / Graduate Diploma in Applied Science or training in Cardiac Ultrasound with accreditation with ASAR as a qualified or trainee Cardiac Sonographer
- Recent post graduate experience in Cardiac Sonography
- High level of knowledge and proficiency in complex cardiac ultrasound procedures
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform the full range of Cardiac Sonography procedures and/or interventional examinations in accordance with department requirements
- Demonstrated excellent clinical reasoning skills in the performance of Cardiac Sonography procedures which reflects a high level of practical expertise
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with hospital staff, private referrers, patients and carers
