Selection Criteria
- A degree in Biomedical Engineering from a tertiary institution recognised by and acceptable for membership of Engineers Australia.
- Extensive experience in the repair, maintenance and testing of electronic medical devices in clinical environments and understanding of medical device management on the IT network.
- Demonstrated ability to assess priorities and manage competing tasks in a time-critical, complex environment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and high-level expertise and use of computer-based asset management systems.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with experience in team supervision, task delegation, monitoring workflow and performance and contributing to a positive work culture to achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and a commitment to a high standard of service delivery.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Standards pertaining to medical devices.
- Current NSW driver's licence with willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
