About the Role

This position is responsible for managing, coordinating and providing specialist bereavement counselling services and supporting family members and carers of deceased patients within the Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). In addition, the position will provide education to staff and students as necessary, facilitate and organise the biannual Remembrance Services, and participate in ongoing quality assurance projects as required.

This role requires to work across Sydney Local Health District.

Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, substantial experience in bereavement counselling and sound knowledge of theories of grief and bereavement.
  • Experience in facilitating client group workshops.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 are acceptable).
