  1. A relevant engineering or trade qualification that would meet the requirements for eligibility for acceptance as a member of the Institute of Hospital Engineering, Australia - NSW Branch, or Significant demonstrated experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary maintenance and/or project teams within a health facilities environment
  2. . Demonstrated experience in maintenance of plant and equipment, and management of a planned, preventative and emergency maintenance programs to support the efficient delivery of Hospital Services
  3. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, supervise, inspire and manage a multi-disciplined team of trades and non-trades staff.
  4. Demonstrated, well developed interpersonal skills with Ssound written communication skills, including report writing and demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
  5. Ability to demonstrate strong commitment to customer focus and service delivery in consultation with stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Australia Standards and the Building Code of Australia associated with health care buildings.
  7. Current Drivers Licence and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
