About the Role

Are you passionate about providing compassionate care and making a real impact in people’s lives? We are looking for dedicated Assistants in Nursing (AINs) who want to create a warm, home-like environment for residents and patients—not just a clinical setting. This role operates 24/7, and while flexibility is essential, only minimal night shifts will be required.

As an AIN, you will:

  • Assist patients with personal care, mobility, and communication needs to support their daily activities and overall well-being.
  • Work alongside Registered Nurses and allied health professionals like physiotherapists and dietitians to deliver holistic care.
  • Provide nursing care within your scope of practice, following legal, ethical, and policy guidelines.
  • Support nurses with routine technical tasks, including setting up for procedures and maintaining equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure continuity of safe and high-quality patient care.
  • Actively contribute to a positive team environment, valuing different perspectives and working collaboratively.

About You:

You are someone who genuinely cares—not just about completing tasks but about creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel at home. You believe in treating patients with dignity, respect, and kindness, ensuring they feel valued and heard. With a Certificate III in Health Assistance (or equivalent) or current enrolment in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (having completed at least the first year and first semester/trimester of the second year), you have the foundation to provide high-quality care. Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to connect with patients and understand their needs, while your active listening and communication abilities ensure they feel supported. You remain calm under pressure, acting quickly and decisively in crisis situations. As a team player, you collaborate effectively with nurses and allied health professionals, valuing different perspectives to provide holistic care.

If you’re someone who sees beyond the clinical tasks and wants to bring warmth, care, and a sense of home to those you support—we’d love to hear from you.

Join us in making a difference, one patient at a time. Apply today!
