What you'll be doing
Join Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) as an Assistant in Nursing, where you'll provide individualised patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Deliver personal care, assist with mobility, and support communication needs of patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist in technical support functions.
- Participate in collaborative care and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure safety and timely reporting of incidents or patient safety concerns.
- Comply with health and safety policies, participating in WHS education and training.

- Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing degree second year
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems.
- Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills, , including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
