Allied Health Assistant (Occupational Therapy) - Prince of Wales Hospital

Where you'll be working
An opportunity exists for an Allied Health Assistant to join the Occupational Therapy Department at Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick and work within the rehabilitation and acute care teams. The Occupational Therapy Department employs up to 36 Occupational Therapists across Acute, Rehab and Outpatient caseloads. As such this position has an important role in supporting Occupational Therapists to meet their patient goals. The role has clinical as well as clinical support components.

- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent work experience and a willingness to work towards certification with the support of SESLHD.
- Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy or a willingness to learn
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision, to organise work priorities and manage time effectively
- Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles.
- Current Class C NSW drivers licence
