About the opportunity
Health infrastructure is looking for a dynamic Advisor, FFE Planning and Design to assist in delivering innovative, functional, and future focused Furniture, Fittings and Equipment (FFE) planning and design across a portfolio of high-profile capital healthcare projects.
In this role, you’ll step into a pivotal position as a technical specialist and hands on project contributor, ensuring FFE strategies are seamlessly integrated into major infrastructure developments. From shaping early-stage planning through to final design delivery, your work will help create environments that truly support the needs of clinicians, patients and communities.
You will:
- Integrate with multiple capital projects to deliver the FFE Planning and Design workstream.
- Optimised FFE Planning and drive project delivery, including strategic planning, and milestone reporting.
- Collaborate with key partners such as Project Teams, Advisory Service Leads, Local Health Districts and other Government agencies.

This is a contract role for a two-year fixed term period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

With a strong background in FFE (Furniture, Fittings and Equipment) planning and design, you bring both technical expertise and hands-on project experience—ideally within healthcare or large-scale infrastructure settings.
You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, and have a proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects. Your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills allow you to work effectively with clinical teams, project partners, government agencies, and design professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Analytical and detail-oriented, you're always looking for ways to improve processes and drive innovation. Most importantly, you're motivated by purpose—keen to play a key role in shaping spaces that genuinely support the wellbeing of patients, clinicians, and communities across NSW.
