What you'll be doing
Join WSLHD Mental Health Services in a key leadership role driving better outcomes for adults living with severe mental illness across Western Sydney. Responsibilities will include:
- Leading clinical, operational and financial governance of ACMHS
- Guiding delivery of modern, recovery-focused care models
- Strengthening partnerships across government and non-government sectors
- Improving service integration and support for consumers, families and carers
- Based at Cumberland Hospital with travel across the district

Selection Criteria:
- This role requires providing governance and leadership in clinical, operational, financial, and reporting areas of Adult Community Mental Health Services while driving transformation and change management. Describe your experience in mental health service management, including specific examples of how you have led change initiatives to improve clinical practices, implemented quality and safety programs, and managed transformation in day-to-day operations of mental health services. Include how you have facilitated workforce development during change processes and ensured compliance with NSW Health policies and contemporary mental health models of care.
- A key accountability is developing effective partnerships within clinical and non-clinical areas impacting mental health services, including aged care, supported accommodation, community health, GPs, NGOs, consumers, families and carers. Provide specific examples of how you have coordinated care across inpatient and community mental health services, managed referral pathways and transitions, and worked collaboratively with external partners to enhance outcomes for people with severe and persistent mental illness in a public health setting. Include how you have managed change and stakeholder engagement when implementing new partnership models or care coordination approaches.
