Remuneration: $31.21 - $32.24 Per Hour + 11.5% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

The hours are 8am until 4:30pm – the 4 days are ideally Monday Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
About the Position:
As an Administration Officer within the Newcastle Mental Health Team at James Fletcher Hospital, you will provide administrative support to both clients and staff of the service to support the delivery of excellent mental health care. You will be supported in this position by the management secretary and other members of the administration team, as well as members of the management team. Appropriate training and education will be provided upon orientation with further training and professional development opportunities being supported where possible. You will also be given Mental Health First Aid training.
- The successful applicant will be part of a small administrative team who work in a busy, fast paced front reception space.
- You will be responsible for meeting and greeting consumers, answering phone calls, managing emails, and assisting clinicians on a daily basis.
About You:
The successful candidate will be punctual and reliable with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You will possess strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload in accordance with urgency. You will also have sound communication and interpersonal skills with administrational experience within a health care setting being highly regarded. Ideally, you will have worked in a similar environment and have some basic de-escalation experience within a high-pressure environment.
