To help deliver on this, we are seeking a strong Aboriginal professional to guide and influence the growth, development and connection across our workforce.

About the Role
:

This is a key position within the People & Culture team, focused on developing employment pathways into health for community - whilst aiding cultural safety and workforce capability. You will bring cultural integrity and expert knowledge to how we attract, develop and support our people, and strengthen our teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with individuals, teams and services to foster growth, development and cultural safety of Aboriginal employees and students across CCLHD.
  • Partner with community, external organisations and education institutions to build support for Aboriginal employment programs.
  • Influence talent management and succession planning to ensure sustainability, diversity and cultural inclusion.
  • Support our strategic priority of increasing Aboriginal workforce participation to best reflect and support our community.
  • Contribute to building a workforce where everyone understands their role in closing the gap.

This role is not just about leadership, it’s about influence, community, and connection. It’s about walking with purpose and creating impact that lasts for our local Aboriginal community.

About You:

You are a proud Aboriginal leader who can draw upon both lived and professional experience in your work, and you’re passionate about supporting people, systems and services to grow in culturally inclusive ways.
You are deeply collaborative, and you know how to inspire, influence and guide others, from front-line staff to executive leaders.

You will also bring:
