About the role
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers play a vital role in the Primary Health care workforce. They provide clinical and primary health care for individuals, families and community groups including speciality areas of drug and alcohol, mental health, diabetes and eye and ear health.

 

The Aboriginal Health Education officer is part of the Gulargambone MPS Community Primary Health team and is based at the Multi-Purpose Service
