Workers Compensation Technical Manager(Health Manager Level 2)-Liverpool Hospital-Perm F/T

• Extensive experience in workers compensation claims management, with a sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in the management of litigated claim.
• Excellent knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying the principles of current and past workers compensation legislation and regulation, including: Workers Compensation Act 1987 Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 Workers Compensation Regulation 2010 Workers Compensation Amendments 2001, 2005 and 2012
• Demonstrated effectiveness in leading and developing capability within a team, including coaching, training and advising managers and peers.
• Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands.
• Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level computer skills – including Microsoft computer applications, databases.
• Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality issues pertaining to employee records.
• Current unrestricted Australian drivers license (P2 acceptable), and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
