The Wardsperson works within a multidisciplinary team environment. It is a diverse role which focuses on the patient journey throughout the hospital with an emphasis on the movement of patients between the wards and departments

 

The Wardspersons assists with patient care and completion of general hospital tasks. The Wardsperson is required to communicate regularly with all members of the multi - disciplinary team and comply with reasonable instruction, policies and procedures relating to work health safety and wellbeing.

 

The incumbent of a Wardspersons position will be required to meet the required physical and psychological demands of the position outlined in the Job Demands Checklist.
