Selection criteria to be addressed:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health related field, equivalent work experience in multidisciplinary health or welfare setting, or a combination of relevant study and work experience
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the contemporary principles of person centred supportive and palliative care and palliative care volunteering
  3. Demonstrated high level of professional and interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal, and ability to work collaboratively across a variety of settings
  4. Previous experience working with volunteers, including recruitment, performance management and supervision
  5. Previous experience in delivery and evaluation of training programs, implementing policy and contributing to service development
  6. Proven ability of a high degree of self-motivation, problem solving, initiative and ability to work independently and within a team
  7. Demonstrated experience and skills in using Microsoft Office suite and basic database management
  8. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence. Ability and willingness to travel as the role requires.
