Vision Screener - Preschooler

- Demonstrated understanding of the goals & outcome measures of the current State-wide Eyesight Preschooler Screening Program (StEPS) Policy Directive PD2018_015.
- Demonstrated effective, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with sound computer literacy including the use of Excel and other health related systems such as CHOC, eMR.
- Ability to liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders, government and non-government agencies and the multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to use data collection tools to document quality information in relation to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and review of programs.
- Demonstrated experience in visual acuity screening and the ability to demonstrate skills competencies associated with the delivery of StEPS and other programs associated with StateWide screening services.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) in an environment of minimal supervision and rapid change.
- Evidence of Current Drivers Licence for NSW and ability to travel within responsibility of the role including overnight stays if required.
