Viral Hepatitis & Sexual Health Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 1) – Drug & Alcohol

1. Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
2. Minimum five years full time equivalent post graduate qualification experience and a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of practice.
3. Demonstrated core competency skills in the delivery of hepatitis C evidence based care.
4. Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
5. Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
6. Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.
7. Ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
8. Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service planning.
