Located in South Bowenfels, the Lithgow Campus is considered as a comprehensive community health centre supporting approximately 20,000 people living in the town and surrounding areas. The services available in Lithgow hospital include Domiciliary care unit, Emergency department, Geriatric assessment unit, Obstetric services, Paediatric service, Drug and Alcohol unit. 

An opportunity become available for Undergraduate Assistant In Nursing candidates to join Lithgow Hospital. Within in the role, you will gain experience and confidence as undergraduate prior to graduating and registering with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

In this position, you will ensure the provision of care activities to residents in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of an Assistant in Nursing. This position will see you work collaboratively with patients and other health care team members in accordance with protocol and working towards a common goal.
