What you'll be doing
The Gastroenterology Motility Unaccredited Trainee responsibilities will include providing clinical research support to the motility patients of Gastroenterology Staff Specialists and Visiting Medical Officers as well as teaching of junior medical officers, nurses and undergraduates.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Completed FRACP Part 1.
- Excellent theoretical knowledge and clinical judgement.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team - diligence, punctuality, organization, record keeping, time management, problem solving skills and team work.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) with patients, their families, medical and non-medical colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and expert clinical care.
- Demonstrated Commitment to ongoing Advanced Training education, research and teaching.
- Willingness to undertake a higher research degree (MPhil or PhD).
