To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible:-
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Completion of at least two postgraduate years with a minimum of 1 year experience in women’s health, with clinical competence in procedural obstetrics including assisted vaginal and caesarean deliveries and management of obstetrical emergencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical environment, excellent clinical skills and judgment together with teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in the clinical settings and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience and willingness to teach junior medical staff/medical students and a commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management
- Ability to move between services and geographical locations to deliver patient care.
- Preparedness and ability to work independently in a supervised environment.
- Prepared to participate in after hours and on-call work as required.
- Knowledge of relevant NSW Health policy.
