Where you'll be working
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is a major metropolitan teaching hospital. Patients can access a range of services including coronary care, intensive care, orthopaedics, general medicine, surgical, obstetric, respiratory, rehabilitation, paediatric, maternity and emergency care. The hospital also provides a wide range of outpatient services including allied health, dental and podiatry clinics, child, adolescent and family health, drug and alcohol, health promotion and rehabilitation and aged care. An acute mental health service is co-located at Hornsby Hospital. The new $265 million Stage 2 redevelopment was officially opened in June 2022.

What you'll be doing
- Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role
- Advanced ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, including the sharing of appropriate information internally and externally with key persons or services
- Advanced ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise.
- Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to vary communication style in line with the understanding of the needs of diverse audiences
- Advanced ability to prioritise workloads and display a flexible approach to meet changing situations in a demanding and unpredictable clinical environment
- Commitment to participating in training and development opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in the area of emergency medicine
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
