If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare, join our dynamic Surgical Services team as a proactive and compassionate Theatre Wardsperson.

As a vital member of the Peri-Operative team, you will:

  • Ensure all theatre equipment and bed accessories are prepared for daily procedures.
  • Assist in safely positioning and transferring patients to recovery and wards.
  • Be responsible for Priority One cleaning of the Peri-Operative environment.
  • Maintain linen supplies and assist with linen ordering, collecting, and unpacking stores.
  • Perform moderate manual handling of sedated patients in accordance with training and protocols.


Comprehensive orientation and hands-on training will be provided by the Nurse Unit Manager and the current Wardsperson. Ongoing mandatory education will be supported, with a focus on aseptic technique, manual handling, and the peri-operative environment.
