What you'll be doing
Join the Imaging Department at Blacktown Hospital, providing vital support to staff and patients through quality imaging services. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Assisting with daily imaging operations and patient care
- Coordinating bookings and prepare patients for scans
- Supporting clinical teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintaining equipment and manage stock levels
- Delivering services aligned with hospital protocols

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office and the knowledge or willingness to learn Hospital computer systems such as iPMS, Radnet, Cerner, Powerchart.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office, knowledge of medical terminology (well regarded), drafting correspondence, minute taking and supporting meetings and committees.
- Knowledge of the functions and services associated with working in a hospital or health environment.
- TAFE or College training in patient care including CPR, specimen collection, taking and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, blood glucose and wound care.
- TAFE or College training in patient care including assisting patients with eating, drinking, toileting, breathing devices and catheter care.
- The ability to work both independently and as an effective and efficient team member demonstrating initiative, judgement and analytical skills.
