  1. Lived experience of a mental health problem or disorder and willingness to share your recovery story/journey as part of your work
  2. Recognized Degree or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer or Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer work or willingness to work towards completing
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of consumer led recovery and recovery principles
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team and ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of people
  5. Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement frameworks and evidence based practice
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
  7. Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education
  8. Experience in planning, delivering and evaluating group and individual interventions
  9. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
