As an integral member of a small and dedicated team, you will collaboratively manage state-wide programs to build the talent pipeline into critical NSW Health careers, including in rural and regional NSW.

The EXTD Unit leads and shapes exciting strategy to develop our people and culture in NSW Health. The strategic work we lead includes building the student pipeline across NSW Health, the NSW Health Culture and Staff Experience Framework and the NSW Health Talent Strategy.
Health Manager level 2, starting salary from $109,857 - $129,624 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38-hour work week.
What you will do
- Work as part of a team to develop and implement policy, projects and strategies to address student pipeline policy issues. This work spans the key stages of a student’s journey to a career in NSW Health, from high school, through study pathways, student placements and into entry-level roles.
- Provide sound advice and guidance on matters related to building the student pipeline.
- Engage and work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders to effectively plan, implement and evaluate programs and strategies.
- Analyse student and workforce data to inform your projects and focus areas.
- Promote NSW Health careers at key events, which may include travel to regional and rural NSW.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Higher education qualifications or experience, in a relevant field.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, across agencies and industries including in health and education.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding the breadth of NSW Health organisations and professions, both clinical and non-clinical.
- Proven experience in project management, including planning, delivering and evaluating complex initiatives that deliver impactful change.
- A willingness to travel to rural and regional NSW locations.
