About the role
The Student Midwife works within a supported environment to complete the Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery under the supervision of a Registered Midwife.  Midwives provide quality midwifery care to mothers and their babies that reflect current standards of midwifery practices and current Western NSW Local Health District CORE values.

Our Midwives are supported by a Midwifery Unit Manager, Clinical Midwifery Specialists and Midwifery Educators.  In addition to this we have a supportive multidisciplinary team including Obstetricians, Paediatricians, Allied Health and Aboriginal Health professionals to ensure we provide woman-centred care.

This position is not eligible for work rights sponsorship.
