Collaboratively engage with relevant NSW and national stakeholders to advance strategic reform of state and national funding models and promote the application of activity-based management insights to deliver cost-effective and sustainable health services, linked with better health outcomes.
Health Manager level 4, starting salary from $141,974 - $169,151 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38- hour work week.
What you will do
- Lead engagement across NSW Health entities to improve understanding of activity-based management and its application to the NSW Health system.
- Review, analyse, and present activity-based management data insights, to drive improvements in financial sustainability and better value care.
- Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to advance strategic reform of state and national funding models and optimise own source revenue.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to the role (including but not limited to: health and medical sciences, health information management, health service management, commerce, business administration).
- Comprehensive knowledge of activity-based management (ABM) and its application to NSW and national health funding models.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret activity, costing, financial and other related data to develop strategic insights, drive cost efficiencies and optimise own source revenue performance.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability communicate technical and complex information and data insights to diverse audiences with clarity, enthusiasm and impact.
