Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital!


We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine. The primary purpose of the role of Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Rehabilitation, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Rehabilitation Department and Hospital as required. The Staff Specialist will provide high quality Specialist Rehabilitation Medicine services to inpatients and outpatients across CRGH, consistent with the role delineation of the hospitals. The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.


The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Faculty of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FAFRM) with recognised qualifications in Rehabilitation Medicine and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
