What you'll be doing
We are looking for a Sonographer within the Imaging Department is to provide high quality Diagnostic Medical Imaging service in accordance with National Registration, professional practices, standards and policies of the Imaging Department within NSW Health.

Targeted Questions
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography or Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent.
- Post graduate degree in either:
-To be graded as Medical Radiation Scientist Level 4 Grade 1 - Master’s degree in medical sonography and registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR). Eligibility requires a minimum of three years equivalent clinical practice after successful completion of Medical Imaging course in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine
-To be graded as a Medical Radiation Scientist Level 3 Grade 3- Postgraduate diploma in medical sonography and registration with Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
- Detail your extensive experience in ultrasound and general radiography.
A) Ultrasound: comment on your experience in obstetric & gynaecology including morphology scans and/or MSK expertise and/or vascular scans including arterial studies.
B) Radiography: including but not limited to general and trauma, operation suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy.
In your response detail the systems you have used.
- Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
