About the Opportunity 
Bankstown Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Level 1–2 Social Worker to join our dedicated team and contribute to delivering high‑quality care for patients and families. We welcome applicants who have some experience in any of the following areas: Emergency, Paediatrics, Neonatal Care, Maternity, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, or broader Women’s and Children’s Health services, including DCJ experience. In this role, you will provide psychosocial support across diverse clinical areas, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient‑centred care. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in high‑pressure environments while supporting families through complex health and social challenges.

What You'll be Doing
The Emergency Department Administration Officer provides a wide range of administration and clerical support with timely and accurate delivery of quality services and ensuring and maintaining a strong customer focused approach.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.

The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital.
