About the Role

You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
 
Are you our next Team Leader? Our newest member will lead the Neurology/ Palliative Care and Cancer Care Teams. You will be looking after a a Team of Level 3 and Level 1/2 Social Workers as well as being an active member of the Senior Team and the broader Social Work Department. It is important to note this position will have a clinical component alongside the responsibilities of a Level 4 Team Leader such as providing supervision, line management, day to day coordination of up to 7 Social Workers across a spectrum of clinical streams.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work services.
  • Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
