Essential Criteria:
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated advanced level of skills in complex psycho-social assessment and extensive specialist psycho-social knowledge of children in relation to: child protection, substance misuse, mental illness, domestic violence and the impact this may have on attachment and development.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and/ or clinical practice improvement activities.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with high level time management organisational skills and computer literacy.
- Demonstrated understanding of issues faced by CALD and Aboriginal communities within the health context.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience in student co-ordination and commitment to supervision of students, junior staff, implementing education programs and liaison with University placement co-ordinators.
- Current driver’s licence valid in NSW.
