The footprint includes an area for future expansion as a 4 bedded EDSSU. The department is led by FACEMs, FACRRMs and GP VMOs with expertise in Emergency Medicine. A typical day in the ED sees 60-70 undifferentiated patients (adult and paediatric; about 22,000 patients per year), with significant acuity and complexity across a wide range of conditions, including some trauma.
