SESLHD is committed to improving the care provided to our patients in line with our vision of Working together to improve the health and wellbeing of our community. Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Intensive Care Department to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner

This position is required to exercise advanced skills and knowledge in respect of office systems & procedures, have a high standard of document preparation and also have the ability to prioritise. This position will also provide a high level of secretarial /administrative support to the Department Head and the Intensive Care Department when required.

  1. Advanced skills in providing a wide range of high level administrative services, including invoicing, in a demanding environment
  2. Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills including the preparation of reports, briefings
  3. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and implement systems and processes, ensuring deadlines are met
  4. Ability to support medical staff by handling timesheet enquiries and processing timesheets
  5. Ability to work independently and with a demonstrated commitment to effective teamwork
  6. Demonstrated independent experience in recruitment processes and rostering practices using NSW Health recruitment, onboarding and rostering systems
  7. Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Health Industry data management systems for patient billing, patient administration and health record management
