Essential Criteria:
 
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications including Behavioural Science, Social Work, Psychology or equivalent and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to work towards this.
 
Selection Criteria:
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications including Behavioural Science, Social Work, Psychology or equivalent and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to work towards this.
  2. Demonstrated experience working in NSW Health VAN services and/or related services providing a range of responses to children, young people, adults and families who have experienced violence abuse and neglect, in particular children and young people with problematic harmful sexual behaviours.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of the socio-political context, nature, dynamics and impacts of violence abuse and neglect and their relevance to integrated practice and health service delivery
  4. Demonstrated high level ability to critically analyse current issues and emerging trends and proven experience and skills in the development and delivery of training programs in the area of violence, abuse and neglect, including PHSBs
  5. Demonstrated project management skills including experience in project planning, goal setting and identification of required measures and outcomes, and monitoring the completion of project within agreed timeframes
  6. Demonstrated understanding of cultural competency and applying culturally safe practices in the workplace
  7. Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment, with demonstrated high level communication skills (written and oral), relationship building and interpersonal skills and computer skills
  8. Willingness to travel within NSW and has a current driver’s license valid in NSW
