About the Opportunity
Campbelltown Hospital Medical Imaging is looking to recruit an experienced senior sonographer to lead our vibrant team. This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic sonographer to shape the department for future growth.
Medical Imaging has undergone recent redevelopment and has expanded to 6 ultrasound rooms and uses state of the art GE and Canon systems.
Applicants require an extensive ultrasound skill set and are to detail experience in leadership, sonographer training, and quality improvement projects.
What You'll be Doing
Senior in Ultrasound - Manage Ultrasound section including staffing and bookings in liaison with departmental management.
Perform Ultrasound examination as required by the departmental protocols and training new staff in Ultrasound.

- Medical Radiation Science degree.
- AHPRA registration with EPA licence.
- A post graduate diploma or masters’ degree in an area of Ultrasound and have a valid Ultrasound accreditation from ASAR.
- Extensive clinical experience and demonstrate extensive knowledge in Ultrasound.
- Demonstrate experience in supervision, people management and experience in training of staff.
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
